Thank you to all those that supported us on our launch evening! The atmosphere and vibe throughout the evening was of excitement and joy. So good to see many people gathered enjoying this new space we have created sampling a pint, or two of “Three Tuns XXX” or glass of Pimms.

The canapes went down a treat- Sardine pate, sable biscuit, pickled conrnichon with micro herbs were first on offer. Swiftly followed by the favourite of the evening Duck pakora, mango chutney, raita and coriander. Another fish canape followed, breaded seabass, pea puree and tartare sauce. Then, my personal favourite, Moroccan sausage rolls, apricot chutney and dukkah. Then we finished on a Slaughterhouse slider!
Chef Ian and his small team worked hard to get the 400 canapes out in good time, each one immaculately presented and equally as delicious. Thank you to everyone who helped out on the night and in the run up to getting this venture in motion.
The Old Slaughterhouse Cafe will be open from Thursday 2nd July 9-3, and then every Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9-3 from then onwards
